The firm bank account details such as name, address of the bank, type of account that the firm/individual hold, account no, year of opening.
Permanent Account Number(PAN) copy should be attached which is given by the income tax authorities. Only one IEC will be issued for one PAN to the proprietor.
Address proof of the firm or an individual.
Passport size photographs of an applicant or a firm.
The complete details of a proprietor/ director/ partner/trustee should be mentioned and the firm details such as name of the company, Registered office address, Address of all the branch offices, head office, the offices locates in India, abroad and its contact details.
A cover letter from the head of the company requesting to the concerned officer for granting IEC.
When it comes to limited companies (private or public)
• Extract of board resolution in favour of the applicant.
• Memorandum of Association and conjointly certificate of incorporation of company should be produced.
In case of partnership firm:
• Partnership deed along with the date of formation of the firm should be mentioned.
• There is no objection from the partner.
